To all the interested parties in bpmCamp Austin : 

We sincerely apologize, but we're going to have to cancel this fall's bpmCamp event.  While we had significant interest from all over the country, we had 3/4 of our respondents decline their invitations because of impending process roll-outs in the fall, and even had some cancellations coming in due to roll-out schedules.  The good news is how many IBM/Lombardi customers are in the thick of roll-outs in 2010!  The unfortunate side-effect is that our target audience just isn't free to make it to a 2-day conference as a result! 

Even our own team was taxed to try to attend bpmCamp due to customer commitments.  We're going to apply some of our own agile and iterative thinking to our bpmCamp organizing process, and we're going to get the word out sooner for the next event at Stanford - targeted as a summer event in late June or July. 

I want to thank IBM for generously offering to help by sponsoring dinner Thursday night, as well as offering to give our attendees sneak peaks at product developments current and future.  There are clearly advantages in having an event like this in Austin where the IBM talent base is so readily available.  When we set up the next bpmCamp in Austin, we're going to do a better job of collaborating on the content and format to take better advantage of local resources.

I also want to thank Stanford and Intel for their continued support of our efforts to spur a real BPM community with the kind of practical know-how that can really help individual practitioners get their job done. 

We're going to take this opportunity to make bpmCamp even better next time around.  And we certainly welcome your input as to how to do that!
